Module 1: Dynamics
Overview:
Over the course of this module you will expand your knowledge of kinematics and forces into the combined field of dynamics. In the first unit of this course, you will be re-introduced to many terms, variables, and equations learned in Grade 11 Physics. You will apply these previously learned concepts to two-dimensional situations.
Overall Curriculum Expectations:
By the end of this module, students will:
B1. Analyse technological devices that apply the principles of the dynamics of motion, and assess the
technologies’ social and environmental impact.
B2. Investigate, in qualitative and quantitative terms, forces involved in uniform circular motion and
motion in a plane, and solve related problems.
B3. Demonstrate an understanding of the forces involved in uniform circular motion and motion in a plane.
